-First crush

How do I talk to a girl that I liked very much but wasn't able to talk to for the past ten years? Although I know she's always there within reach yet it seems impossible to bring up the courage to simply have a conversation.
Time passed, I wonder if she still remember our liltle innocent memories.
I remembered she went to my 12th birthday party. I was still a kid.
I remmebered asking her out, then she said its a Date. I was naive, I didn't understand the word "Date" so I didn't show up.
We went through same elementry, Junior high, up to High school.
I still remember her teaching me to play tedder ball. (the game u hit the ball tied to the pole)
She commented that I was short.

Now I am no longer short, will she like me now? My courage is greater than before. Just that I dont know what to say when I see her again.
